1. Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your use of myfederalfuture.com (the "Site"), operated by SageByte LLC ("MyFederalFuture", "we", "us"). By using the Site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The Site is provided for general educational purposes for a general audience of current and former federal employees. Content is not tailored to you and does not account for your circumstances.

You agree not to use the Site unlawfully; to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it; to scrape, copy, or republish its content for commercial purposes without permission; to interfere with its operation; or to submit false information or information about another person without their authority.

3. No advice, no products, not licensed

MyFederalFuture does not provide financial, tax, legal, investment, or insurance advice. We are not a licensed insurance producer, not a broker-dealer, and not a registered investment adviser. We do not sell financial products.

Nothing on the Site is a recommendation, offer, or solicitation to buy, sell, hold, move, or retain any asset, and no fiduciary, advisory, or professional relationship is created between you and us by your use of the Site or by contacting us. Consult a qualified professional, and the official resources at tsp.gov and OPM, before making any decision.

4. Not affiliated with the government

MyFederalFuture is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the U.S. government, the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP), the FRTIB, OPM, or any government agency. The Site is not a government website.

5. Referral relationship and independent professionals

If you request to speak with someone, we may introduce you to a state-licensed insurance professional who has paid us a referral fee. You are never charged and are never obligated to proceed.

Any such professional is an independent third party. They are not our employee, agent, partner, or representative, and we do not supervise, control, endorse, or take responsibility for their conduct, advice, recommendations, products, or services. Any relationship you enter into with them is between you and them, on their terms. We make no representation or warranty about them or about any outcome of any conversation with them.

6. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or practices. A link is not an endorsement. Your use of a third-party site is governed by that site's terms and privacy policy.

7. No warranty

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that content is accurate, complete, or current. Rules, figures, and procedures relating to federal retirement change, and content may become out of date. Nothing on the Site is a guarantee, promise, or assurance of any outcome.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYFEDERALFUTURE, SAGEBYTE LLC, AND THEIR OFFICERS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, SAVINGS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, ANY CONTENT ON IT, OR ANY INTRODUCTION MADE THROUGH IT, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyFederalFuture and SageByte LLC from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of the rights of any third party.

10. Intellectual property

The Site and its content are owned by SageByte LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print content for your own personal, non-commercial use. All other rights are reserved.

11. Changes to these terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. The "last updated" date will change, and the revised Terms take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Site after that constitutes acceptance. We may also modify or discontinue the Site, or any part of it, at any time without notice.

12. Governing law
